Curve Your Enthusiasm

Peplums, what's your opinion? They are absolutely massive this year and in all retail stores. I've seen peplum dresses, skirts, tops and jackets. They are everywhere and are carrying over into AW12 trends. Here are some of my favourites from the AW12 catwalk.

I love the knitted peplum dress by Stella McCartney, it's so different, however I don't think all shapes can pull off this dress. Shame I'm not 6ft and size 0. Wah!

Below are some high street peplum tops, skirts and dresses I have found. If I'm 100% honest, I don't think I'll be investing in any peplums this fall. They really do not suit my shape -I'm tiny. I think they create a great silhouette and add curves to straight figures, unfortunately they are just not for me.

Topshop currently stock some great textured peplum tops. 

Zara have some really interesting pieces right now, embroidered leather, laced teamed with leather all add class and look more expensive.

Chloe Studded Ankle Boots

I abso-fucking-lutely adore the Chloe studded ankle boots. They've been on the scene for a few seasons now and do not get old whatsoever. They retail at £850.00 and the python style retail at a whopping £1135.00! Celebrities such as Sienna Miller and Kate Bosworth have been seen on many occasions rocking them and are rocking them well.

Unfortunately, not everyone can afford £850.00 boots, so I've gone and pulled together alternative/cheaper/look a likes. Take a look.

Deep Purple Autumn/Winter 2012

Looks like this A/W12 is all about the purples. Now, purple isn't my favourite colour, or even comes close to being my favourite. However, I think I'm going to give it a try this Autumn. Christopher Kane and Gucci are showcasing their designs beautifully and the purple looks absolutely stunning.
