I got paid yesterday and I'm not going out for a whole month because I am ridiculously broke, so as I was walking to my car from work yesterday Zara caught my eye and I just had to go in. I tried on a bunch of stuff which was way out of my price zone and then I spotted this beaut of a bag. Take a look, what do you think?

It's a small bucket bag with black studs at the top, £29.99 bargain! I obviously can't afford an Alexander Wang bag so this is the closest I'm going to get to one right now.

Tropical Topshop

It's uniform time again at Topshop and I couldn't be more excited. I've purchased these bad boys and they look so good on. Olivia Palmero also got spotted in them in February. I think I'm going to team them up with a white shirt or a bright yellow t-shirt with some black heels.

Zara Parka

So I have been really naughty today and went and bought the khaki Zara parka. It is such a dream. It's £159 on Ebay and unavailable on the website, so it was only right that I bought the last M in store. I'm usually XS but I literally have to have this coat. It looks cute bigger and baggier though. £79.99 what a bargain I say!

Outfit of the Week

For someone who really doesn't like colour what so ever, I really like these trousers from work. I haven't bought them, as I really don't think I could pull them off, however I teamed them up with a simple white shirt and a very bright lime green jumper. What do you think? Hit or miss?

(Lime jumper £38.00, leather heels £65.00, white shirt £36.00, AA pouch £48.00, gold cuff £12.50 and floral trousers £35.00)

Amsterdam

Just a few cheeky snaps from my travels to Amsterdam. What a brilliant city. It has to be the most laid back City I have ever visited. I went with my BFF Megan. We smoked, toured, walked, slept and drank a lot. Flights are so cheap right now, so if you never been I suggest you get yourself there ASAP. We stayed in the cutest hotel too, called Hotel Qbic

Off Track

I am totally aware that everyone is jumping on the Jeffery Campbell bandwagon, who can blame them though? Jeffery Campbell makes fierce shoes! I'm pretty over the leather/wooden heel Litas, the spiked Litas are still mad cool but I have found a pair of Litas I need in my life immediately. Black mesh Litas! Such a dream, they are currently only available on Sole Struck -FYI they sell the sickest shoes ever.

How brilliant?

There's a new trend in Topshop! Sports Utility/Off Track, in this trend you'll find streamlined separates, premium fabrics, pastels, simple pieces and hints of metallic (especially rose gold) all with a sporty, athletic vibe. This is most definitely my favourite trend and to me, the most wearable. You can see that this look is going to be very big for the rest of 2012 with Alexander Wang S/S 2012, Victoria Beckham F/W 2012 and Stella McCartney S/S 2012 all using that sporty feel within their collections.

Alexander Wang S/S 2012

Victoria Beckham F/W 2012

Nike Air Max

(Grey top £30.00, Jeffery Campbell Litas from Sole Struck $154.95, neon socks £3.50, airlfex skirt £34.00, silver bag pack £25.00 and metallic nail polish £6.00)

Wallin' by Matthew Comer

Finally, it was here. Wallin' by Matthew Comer and the Comer Collective. Over a thousand people were invited to this event in Manchester's new venue 2022NQ and the turn out was amazing! Jamie's Italian provided the food, the free beer was flowing and the vibe was absolutely buzzing! As I walked round the venue looking at his work, I was thoroughly impressed. I love Matt's black and white photography and the provocative feel his work has. The models he used were fucking beautiful, the poses, the styling, everything just worked. I loved it! Matthew Comer is one of the most talented, inspirational and determined people I have ever met. This exhibition was such a good night and his work left me wanting to see more. Apologies that I have no photos from the event -I forgot my camera cos I'm a douche. To like Matt's work go here. Congrats pal

Wow, I certainly haven't been keeping up to date with this blog. It's so much easier to keep on top of Tumblr as it's literally just a bunch of re-blogging! I'm currently on night shifts at work so I have plenty of time during the day to blog etc. Although I'm trying to save money at the moment, I seem to be doing the complete opposite and spending (on my credit card) at every opportunity I get! FYI credit cards are the worst thing to ever get. I've almost maxed mine out in a month, what a douche.

Here are a few things I've treated myself to this month -I say treat, but I definitely don't deserve it. Especially using a credit card.

(Top left to bottom right, Topshop studded vectra pumps black £29.99, Marni for H&M leather sandals £39.99, Topshop studded vectra pumps white £29.99, KG for Kurt Geiger boots £140.00, Fred Perry holdall £29.50 and Fred Perry purse £34.99)

As you can see my look for Spring/Summer is pretty much black, white, grey and all things neutral. I am totally in love with the KG boots, however I have been being extra careful not to get the white soles filthy. All of my shoes usually end up getting completely trashed, so I'm trying extra hard to take care of these... I also took a trip to Fred Perry at Cheshire Oaks and treated myself to a few items there too! If you haven't already discovered the Fred Perry online sale store then click here for some absolute bargains. Hope you like?
