Corralejo, Fuerteventura

I got back from my Easter holiday last week and it was more than depressing returning to the miserable weather here in Manchester. I went to Corralejo in Fuerteventura. I've never been there before and our resort was pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It was a week of bliss, a week filled with reading, sun bathing, swimming, drinking wine and sleeping. Just what I needed after finishing almost a month of night shifts at Topshop. Anyway here are a few of my Instagram pictures from my holiday.

Heaven yeah? If you ever happen to go there make sure you go to Flag Beach. White sands and turquoise seas, what more could you ask for?

Blacks On Blacks On Blacks

I'm probably the least colourful person you will ever meet, in terms of my wardrobe. I pretty much only ever wear white, grey, black or brown. Exciting right? So, yep, you guessed it. My colour for SS13 is black. Black leather. Here are a few looks I've pulled together. Some designer, some high street.

Topshop jeans £38.00, Topshop bracelet £12.50, Saint Laurent boots £600.00, Bottega Veneta bag £1785.00, Tom Ford Black Orchid 100ML perfume £95.00 and Topshop shirt £22.00

Topshop Boutique jumper £65.00, Nike Air Max £96.99, Topshop nail polish £5.00, Todd Lynn shorts £150.00, Topshop socks £3.50 and Black Kanken Classic £55.00

I need one of these Kanken bags in my life. Too cute

Designer Looks For Less

I've been doing a bit of pre pay day internet shopping lately and have come across these items I desperately want on Net-A-Porter, only to find that I can get something very similar on the Topshop website for a much more discounted price. Take a look...

Left: Topshop shoes £60.00 Right: Alexander Wang shoes £490.00
Left: Topshop Boutique shorts £90.00 Right: Alexander Wang shorts £693.00

Left: Topshop boots £70.00 Right: Alexander Wang boots £742.00

Left: Topshop boots £45.00 Right Acne boots £350.00

There you have it. There are a few of my little finds. To be honest I really do prefer the Wang white soled boots and  probably wont be going for the Topshop ones.

André Saraiva and Annabelle Dexter-Jones for The Kooples

The perfect couple
Aren't Annabelle and Andre the most perfect couple? They're currently modeling for The Kooples. I would literally die to have her hair. What a babe

Curve Your Enthusiasm

Peplums, what's your opinion? They are absolutely massive this year and in all retail stores. I've seen peplum dresses, skirts, tops and jackets. They are everywhere and are carrying over into AW12 trends. Here are some of my favourites from the AW12 catwalk.

Oscar De La Renta RTW AW12
Burberry Prorsum RTW AW12
 Stella McCartney RTW AW12

I love the knitted peplum dress by Stella McCartney, it's so different, however I don't think all shapes can pull off this dress. Shame I'm not 6ft and size 0. Wah!

Below are some high street peplum tops, skirts and dresses I have found. If I'm 100% honest, I don't think I'll be investing in any peplums this fall. They really do not suit my shape -I'm tiny. I think they create a great silhouette and add curves to straight figures, unfortunately they are just not for me.

Topshop currently stock some great textured peplum tops.

Zara have some really interesting pieces right now, embroidered leather, laced teamed with leather all add class and look more expensive.

All three dresses above are from Topshop

Now you've seen what's on the catwalk and in the high street stores, here are some snaps of how celebrities are currently rocking peplums

(Beyonce Knowles, Cat Deeley, Cara Delevingnes, Charlize Theron, Kate Bosworth and Emma Watson)
